If I remember correctly silo uses parallel redo with epochs at the rate of 40ms or something like that. In MOT, we use our internal CSN instead of epochs. Our group commit is based on group size and timeout. We don't need epochs and our internal CSN is enough for us.

最近在看silo论文，尝试理解MOT的代码，不过发现MOT中好像没有silo中关于Epoch的逻辑？是MOT没有使用Epoch吗？
使用silo的事务提交算法，可以不使用Epoch吗？
我对silo和MOT代码的理解还不够，谁能指点解释一下，谢谢！
