写偏序问题（write skew）

最近尝试用PostgreSQL写偏序例子，测试opengauss的serializable隔离级别，结果两个事务都成功提交了，opengauss如何解决写偏序问题呢？ create table dots ( id int not null primary key, color text not null ); insert into dots with x(id) as (select generate_series(1,10)) select id, case when id % 2 = 1 then 'black' else 'white' end from x; 事务1 ：事务2 start transaction isolation level serializable; start transaction isolation level serializable; update dots set color = 'black' where color = 'white'; update dots set color = 'white' where color = 'black'; commit; commit; 如果是PostgreSQL其中有一个事务会失败的，但是opengauss都成功了！ openGauss=# select * from dots; id | color ----+------- 4 | black 6 | black 8 | black 10 | black 2 | black 3 | white 5 | white 7 | white 9 | white 1 | white 参考：https://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/SSI#Black_and_White 新大陆软件秦浩 mobile: 17625988619 e-mail:qinhao@newland.com.cn

【dumpall使用with-encryption和with-key参数,恢复过程解密失败】社区问题回复

Hi, @Max 针对问题单https://gitee.com/opengauss/openGauss-server/issues/I5ZTA8 执行恢复操作时，需要加with-key参数，且参数值需要与执行dump时指定的要一致。如果导出与导入时的with-key不一致，就会解密失败。 1、使用下面命令导出： gs_dumpall -c -f /home/ommms1/backup/dumpdata/all.sql --with-encryption=AES128 --with-key=test@KEY -p 28800 下面命令恢复： gsql -d postgres -p 28800 -r -f /home/ommms1/backup/dumpdata/all.sql --with-key=test@KEY 可以正常恢复 2、恢复数据时，加了参数-with-key，但是参数值与导出时的参数值不一样，就会报解密失败。可复现如下报错 gsql -d postgres -p 28800 -r -f /home/ommms1/backup/dumpdata/all.sql --with-key=test@KEYaa decrypt cipher text to plain text failed. total time: 3 ms 如果没收到您其他疑问的话我们将在下周关闭此问题单。 _______________________________________________ Community mailing list -- community(a)opengauss.org To unsubscribe send an email to community-leave(a)opengauss.org

hi，@zdai96 针对问题单：https://gitee.com/opengauss/openGauss-server/issues/I5XOTQ?from=proje… 我认为这是非问题，理由如下操作的SQL非批量插入，而是点插。列存表存储结构决定了不适合使用点插，每次insert会使用一个新的CU，因此对存储空间占用巨大。列存表适用场景见ht… 正确的insert语句为 insert into t1 select generate_series(1,10000000); 这里再解释一下为什么点插语句int和float类型存储空间占用区别巨大。列存表分为CU和CUDESC，前者是最小的列存单元，存储列存的数据；后者存储CU对应的一些信息，是行存表。每一个CU都对应CUDESC中的一行记录，这一行数据中除了CU的基本信息，还有min/max的字段，用于加速查询。点插情况下int是一种特殊的类型，其max/min值与数据值相同，在本例中可以直接插入CUDESC内，通过min/max就可以把值取出来了，因此不会生成CU。而代码中限制了float没有min、max值，即使点插情况下也会生成CU（这里又有delta表概念，本例中未开启，因此不考虑），所以存储空间占用较大。借用@pengjiong的例子，其中插入了100w条数据，float和int相比占用的CUDESC相同，但是float比int多生成了100w个CU，每个CU大小为8K，因此存储空间多了7813MB。如果对回复本身没有异议的话，该issue将于下周四关闭。

您好：       我们是中央民族大学翁彧团队，目前承接众智项目“流引擎与openGauss适配”的任务，主要负责timescaledb与openGauss 3.0版本的适配，目前适配工作大体完成，想通过讨论会，汇报与讨论一些问题，跟各个团队学习优秀经验并解决当前问题，目前团队遇到问题汇总如下：       1.由于不允许向openguass内核添加代码，原来timescaledb中有大量代码依赖pg内核(og内核中缺失)，需要复制到timescaledb中，导致大量代码冗余；             2.编译过程中，og内核的很多文件没有编译到guasshome即server文件夹下，导致tsdb无法调用，复制相当于是改变内核代码，而且也可能导致第三个错误的出现(c++编译时已经将路径完整定义,后面移动后可能导致无法找到原路径,而且移动之后的.h文件没有经过编译,很有可能报错)      3.Timescaledb找不到部分openguass依赖的头文件(比如文件存在centos7.6/gcc/gcc7.3.0/c++中,但是timescaledb找不到对应路径)如果把依赖路径(比如centos7.6/gcc/gcc7.3.0/c++添加到timescaledb的Makefile中，可能会出现文件同名,函数同名之类导致的编译错误)       我们团队希望通过交流讨论，解决上述问题，感谢各位的支持。       此致       敬礼      刘征       429732589(a)qq.com      中央民族大学信息工程学院

您好：       我们是中央民族大学翁彧团队，目前承接众智项目“流引擎与openGauss适配”的任务，主要负责timescaledb与openGauss 3.0版本的适配，目前适配工作大体完成，想通过讨论会，汇报与讨论一些问题，跟各个团队学习优秀经验并解决当前问题，目前团队遇到问题汇总如下：       1.由于不允许向openguass内核添加代码，原来timescaledb中有大量代码依赖pg内核(og内核中缺失)，需要复制到timescaledb中，导致大量代码冗余；       2.编译过程中，og内核的很多文件没有编译到guasshome即server文件夹下，导致tsdb无法调用，复制相当于是改变内核代码，而且也可能导致第三个错误的出现(c++编译时已经将路径完整定义,后面移动后可能导致无法找到原路径,而且移动之后的.h文件没有经过编译,很有可能报错)       3.Timescaledb找不到部分openguass依赖的头文件(比如文件存在centos7.6/gcc/gcc7.3.0/c++中,但是timescaledb找不到对应路径)如果把依赖路径(比如centos7.6/gcc/gcc7.3.0/c++添加到timescaledb的Makefile中，可能会出现文件同名,函数同名之类导致的编译错误)       我们团队希望通过交流讨论，解决上述问题，感谢各位的支持。       此致       敬礼      刘征       429732589(a)qq.com      中央民族大学信息工程学院

1. ustore行存表是否不支持reindex concurrently，不支持需增加相应的报错提示，如在reindex index和reindex table中报ERROR，在reindex database中报WARNING 通过测试分析，ustore行存表目前不支持create index concurrently。需在reindex concurrently语句中增加相应操作，避免对该模式下的表执行在线重建功能。在checkTableForReindexConcurrently函数中对ustore表报错ERROR 在ReindexDatabase中增加相应函数，在concurrently情况下跳过ustore表自测结果显示： 2.列存表在reindex database中报ERROR会影响效率，列存表产生的行存表在特定的namespace当中，想办法识别并修改reindex database的报错机制，同时也需要在reindex index、reindex table中对产生的行存表进行相应的报错处理通过测试分析，创建列存表后，会在模式cstore创建两个relkind=r的表，分别名为pg_delta_xxx和pg_cudesc_xxx的表。因此，在reindex concurrently语句中增加操作，避免对该模式下的表执行在线重建功能。在checkTableForReindexConcurrently函数中对列存表和其相关表报错ERROR 在ReindexDatabase中增加相应函数，在concurrently情况下跳过列存表和其相关表自测结果显示： 3.由于reindex concurrently不支持在事务中执行，需要采用白盒测试的方式，即在代码中增加断点或者sleep，在不同阶段并发执行DML语句，测试是否存在问题，特别是执行速度特别快的阶段 4.目前reindex concurrently只是对普通的int、text、timestamp类型进行测试，对索引的类型也是默认类型，需测试不同索引类型、不同数据类型下执行在线重建是否存在问题将3和4的问题进行合并回复。采用白盒测试，在reindex concurrently的6个阶段事务中增加睡眠点pg_usleep，对不同数据类型、不同索引类型执行reindex concurrently语句，在每个睡眠点对数据执行增删改查操作，根据执行时间和返回值判断是否存在影响。为了便于测试，每次测试的测试表中只包含10000条数据。由于reindex database concurrently和reindex table concurrently对索引的重建方式与reindex index concurrently相同，因此，测试以reindex index concurrently语句为主。共进行了93种测试，包含int、double、number、char、varcher、text、blob、timestamp、point、int4range、tsvector、bit数据类型类型，涉及到btree、hash、gin、gist等行存表索引，同时对不同分区表（range、hash、interval、list）也进行相应的测试。相应的测试记录见附件。从网易163邮箱发来的超大附件测试计划列表.xlsx (531.54K, 2022年7月28日 11:06 到期) 在线预览 | 下载测试记录整理.zip (25.8M, 2022年7月28日 11:05 到期) 下载
